Yes, there are campgrounds with safe public beaches in our area. Just over the border in Trail is an Aquatic Center approx. 15 miles that features a jacuzzi, sauna, lap pool, children’s pool, a water slide, and an Olympic sized pool.

You bet! Remember your passports or birth certificates and picture ID. Check with Canadian/US Customs agencies for up-to-date regulations.

We do not. However there are kayaks and paddleboards for rent through a third party that we can refer you to.

Yes! Northport has a Medical Clinic. Many first responders and EMTs reside in our area. Dial 9-1-1 for any emergencies.

No, there are no licensed facilities. The nearest is in Colville.

Yes! The Squeeze In at Tony’s Market is a great spot for breakfast & lunch. The River Town Grill features a good selection of dinner choices. KUK’S Tavern for Taco Tuesday.

The Barn” Home of the COFFEE BOSS and other local artisans is great spot to stop, grab locally roasted coffee and shop for a special item.

The area surrounding Northport (Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area) is full of places to see and things to do for outdoor enthusiasts and those looking for unique experiences. 

The Pacific Northwest Trail (North America’s newest long distance hiking trail) comes right through Northport. 

Various road cycling groups have Northport on their stop list throughout the summer. 

⁕ Bird Watchers have an abundance of viewing opportunities in the area including many raptors such as Golden and Bald eagles, osprey and many hawks and falcons. Seasonally the hummingbirds come by the thousands along with the swallows, flickers, nuthatches, kingfishers and many many more! 

Northport hosts an annual weekend blue grass festival called Camp and Jam Blue Grass Festival. Usually Labor Day weekend and held at the Race Track on the edge of town. 

⁕ Fishermen: This is a world class trout fishery for fly fishermen and gear fishermen alike. Walleye, and sturgeon are also abundant in our waters of the Upper Columbia. Bring your rod and license! Launch your boat right there at the city park! Our river side lodging guests also have access to our Private Dock at the Lazy Daze Inn. 

⁕ Hunters: White Tail deer, Elk and even Moose roam this area and are popular game for hunters here seasonally, along with Eastern and Merriam Turkey. We provide hangers for our deer hunters as well. 

⁕ Our 4th of July fireworks show is pretty darn impressive and always a spectacle to see if you’re here for the holiday weekend! 

⁕ Mountain Biking and great hiking trails surround the area both state side and just across the border in B.C. (Seven Summits Trail) 

The Northport International Speedway is a perfect place to watch dirt track races all summer long with your family and friends. Located just across the bridge on Sheep Creek Rd.

We love dogs, cats, fish (yes, a bowl full showed up with a guest), birds and lots of furry creatures. HOWEVER, we can not allow these loving creatures in the majority of our lodgings. There are too many travelers such as yourselves, that have allergies and health issues with pet dander and hair. So plan on making arrangements for your pet. We do offer one lodging that is pet friendly. Call for details.

WiFi is available at our lodgings, for a fee of $5.00 a day or $10.00 per week.

We are proud and grateful to offer a 10% discount to active and retired military (with military ID) and a 5% discount for payment with cash. Unfortunately, we cannot accept checks. We accept Visa and MasterCard. Please remember to note our Northport lodging tax is 9.6%.

Check-in time is 2:00 p.m. Should we not have guests in your lodging the night before, we have no problem with you checking in prior to 2:00 p.m.

Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. sharp! Late check-out can result in a $20.00 per hour fee. We apologize for needing to do this, but our cleaning staff are often on tight schedules, and must have ample time to ready our lodgings to ensure a comfortable, timely and pleasant stay for the next guest.
